Läckö Castle, beautifully situated on a promontory by Lake Vänern in the municipality of Lidköping, is one of the largest tourist attractions in the Västra Götaland region. The castle is a state heritage building and one of Sweden's best-preserved buildings from the Swedish Empire era. The Läckö Castle Foundation conducts a wide range of cultural tourism activities on the premises.

Job Description

As a camping and guest harbor host, you will be responsible for welcoming guests to our camping and guest harbor. In addition to general visitor service such as bookings, your role includes providing guests with information about all the activities and events available in the area and in the Läckö/Kinnekulle region. The job also involves cleaning service buildings as needed and maintaining a keen eye for detail and good order in the area’s service buildings.

Service and good hospitality are extremely important to us, which means you should have a genuine interest in meeting people. You have the ability to work independently, but also a strong sense of responsibility in working with your colleagues. We place great importance on personal suitability and see it as natural that you contribute to a good working atmosphere.

Good language skills in English are required, and knowledge of German, Danish, and French is an advantage. It is beneficial if you have a driver's license and access to a car.

You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

About the Position

You will primarily work independently and be responsible for the incoming emails and booking channels for the camping reception, as well as phone inquiries.

The role includes responsibility for the guests in the area and being a contact person for other colleagues. The job requires the ability to efficiently plan and optimize the placement of visiting vehicles and boats to maximize the use of the camping and guest harbor areas. You should be solution-oriented.

The position runs from mid-June to mid-August. There is also the possibility of additional work during the pre- and post-season in our reception at Naturum Vänerskärgården - Victoriahuset.

Weekend work is included, as the operation is open 7 days a week.
